Quezon, CamSur bettors split Php 25M Lotto 6/42 jackpot
MANILA, Philippines – Two bettors from the provinces of Quezon and Camarines Sur hit the jackpot in the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office’s Lotto 6/42 winning Php 25.4 million on Tuesday, December 31, 2024.
PCSO said the bettors guessed the winning combination of 27-26-09-41-19-20. The total jackpot prize was Php 25,351,115.00.
The tickets were bought from a lotto outlet in Lucena City, Quezon and Naga City, Camarines Sur.
Because of taxes, as provided by the TRAIN Law, lotto winnings are subject to 20 percent tax. This means, Php 5,070,223 would be deducted from the winnings.
Also collecting dividends were 64 bettors who won P24,000 each for getting at least 5 digits correctly in the winning combination.
Meanwhile, 1,737 players guessed four of the six winning combination and they will get Php 800 each. 26,985 players won Php 20 each (balik-taya) for guessing three numbers.
Prizes not claimed within a year shall be forfeited.
The Lotto 6/42 was last won on December 14, 2024 by a solo bettor who bought winning ticket from a lotto outlet in Tondo, Manila.
The Lotto 6/42 is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles urged the public to support the agency’s gaming products. This is to raise additional revenue for health initiatives, medical services, and other national charities.
