Batangas bettor wins P29.7-million Grand Lotto jackpot

MANILA, Philippines – One lucky bettor from Batangas bagged the Php 29.7 million jackpot prize of Saturday night, January 21, 2023 Grand Lotto 6/55 draw.

In an advisory, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced on Sunday that the winner will take home the Php 29,700,000.00 jackpot prize.

The winning combination was 03-44-10-13-23-11 and the lucky ticket was purchased in Ibaan, Batangas.

34 bettors who guessed five correct numbers won second prize and will receive PHP100,000 each.

Meanwhile, 1,479 players guessed four of the six winning combination and they will get Php 1,500 each. 26,860 players won Php 60 each for guessing three numbers.

To claim his/her check, the bettor must go to the PCSO’s main office in Mandaluyong City and present the winning ticket and two ID cards.

As provided under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion law, lotto winnings of more than P10,000 shall be subject to a 20% tax.

The Grand Lotto 6/55 was last won on January 7, 2023 by two bettors who purchased tickets at lotto outlet in Calamba City, Laguna and Cagayan de Oro City, Misamis Oriental.

The Grand Lotto 6/55 is drawn every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.

PCSO urged the public to keep on patronizing their games to generate more funds for health programs, medical assistance and services, and charities.
