Palawan bettor wins Php 36.3M Lotto 6/42 jackpot
MANILA, Philippines – Lone bettor from Palawan hit the jackpot in the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office’s Lotto 6/42 winning Php 36.3 million on Thursday, September 7, 2023.
The winning combination of 03-31-15-19-10-27 gave a Php 36,257,127.40 payoff.
The ticket was purchased in Lacao St, Puerto Princesa City, Palawan.

Because of taxes, as provided by the TRAIN Law, lotto winnings are subject to 20 percent tax. This means, Php 7,251,425.48 would be deducted from the winnings.
Also collecting dividends were 109 bettors who won P24,000 each for getting at least 5 digits correctly in the winning combination.
Meanwhile, 3,745 players guessed four of the six winning combination and they will get Php 800 each. 44,538 players won Php 20 each (balik-taya) for guessing three numbers.
Prizes not claimed within a year shall be forfeited.
The Lotto 6/42 was last won on August 17, 2023 by a lucky bettor who bought the winning ticket from lotto outlet in San Miguel Public Market, San Miguel, Bohol.
The Lotto 6/42 is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles urged the public to support the agency’s gaming products in order to raise additional revenue for health initiatives, medical services, and other national charities.
