Batangas bettor bags Php 42-M Mega Lotto jackpot

MANILA, Philippines – Lone bettor from Batangas bagged the Php 42 million jackpot prize of Monday night, November 27, 2023 Mega Lotto 6/45 draw.

In an advisory, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced on Tuesday that the winner will take home the Php 42,024,785.20 jackpot prize.

The winning combination was 06-23-25-29-22-36.

The ticket was bought in Batangas City, Batangas.

31 bettors who guessed five correct numbers won second prize and will receive Php 32,000 each.

Meanwhile, 1,681 players guessed four of the six winning combination and they will get Php 1,000 each. 30,238 players won Php 30 each for guessing three numbers.

To claim his/her check, the bettor must go to the PCSO’s main office in Mandaluyong City and present the winning ticket and two ID cards.

As provided under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion law, lotto winnings of more than P10,000 shall be subject to a 20% tax.

Unclaimed prizes within a year shall be forfeited.

The Mega Lotto 6/45 is drawn every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

The Mega Lotto was last won on November 6, 2023 by a bettor who bought the winning ticket from a lotto outlet in Bgy. Pinyahan, Quezon City.

PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles urged the public to support the agency’s gaming products in order to raise additional revenue for health initiatives, medical services, and other national charities.
