Rizal bettor wins Php 16.7M Lotto 6/42 jackpot
MANILA, Philippines – Lone bettor from the province of Rizal hit the jackpot in the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office’s Lotto 6/42 winning Php 16.7 million on Tuesday, November 26, 2024.
PCSO said the bettor guessed the winning combination of 19-06-28-31-32-20. The total jackpot prize was Php 16,687,823.80.
The ticket was bought from a lotto outlet in Antipolo, Rizal.
Because of taxes, as provided by the TRAIN Law, lotto winnings are subject to 20 percent tax. This means, Php 3,337,564.76 would be deducted from the winnings.
Also collecting dividends were 20 bettors who won P24,000 each for getting at least 5 digits correctly in the winning combination.
Meanwhile, 1,050 players guessed four of the six winning combination and they will get Php 800 each. 18,853 players won Php 20 each (balik-taya) for guessing three numbers.
Prizes not claimed within a year shall be forfeited.
The Lotto 6/42 was last won on November 14, 2024 by two bettors who bought their winning tickets from a lotto outlet in Mexico, Pampanga and San Mateo, Rizal.
The Lotto 6/42 is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles urged the public to support the agency’s gaming products. This is to raise additional revenue for health initiatives, medical services, and other national charities.
