Bulacan, QC bettors win Php 5.9-M Lotto 6/42 jackpot
MANILA, Philippines – Two bettors from Bulacan and Quezon City hit the jackpot in the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office’s Lotto 6/42 winning Php 5.9 million on Thursday, February 8, 2024.
The winning combination of 27-02-20-22-23-10 gave a Php 5,940,000.00 payoff.
The ticket was purchased in Guiguinto, Bulacan and Tandang Sora, Commonwealth Avenue, Quezon City.

Because of taxes, as provided by the TRAIN Law, lotto winnings are subject to 20 percent tax. This means, Php 1,188,000.00 would be deducted from the winnings. Each winner will then receive Php 2,376,000.00.
Also collecting dividends were 84 bettors who won P24,000 each. They correctly guessed at least 5 digits in the winning combination.
Meanwhile, 2,685 players guessed four of the six winning combination and they will get Php 800 each. 33,862 players won Php 20 each (balik-taya) for guessing three numbers.
Prizes not claimed within a year shall be forfeited.
The Lotto 6/42 was last won on February 6, 2024. The lucky bettor bought the winning ticket from a lotto outlet in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental.
It is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
The PCSO urged the public to keep on patronizing their lotto games to generate more funds for health programs, medical assistance and services, and charities.
