Cagayan bettor wins Php 16.9-M Mega Lotto jackpot
Mega Lotto Jackpot Winner – A bettor from the province of Cagayan bagged Php 16.9 million jackpot prize of Friday night, August 16, 2024 Mega Lotto 6/45 draw.
The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said the bettor guessed the winning combination of 26-05-36-21-29-45. The total jackpot prize was Php 16,881,251.80.
The ticket was bought from a lotto outlet in Tuao, Cagayan.
13 bettors who guessed five correct numbers won second prize and will receive Php 32,000 each.
Meanwhile, 831 players guessed four of the six winning combination and they will get Php 1,000 each. 16,522 players won Php 30 each for guessing three numbers.
To claim his/her check, the bettor must go to the PCSO’s main office in Mandaluyong City. Then, present the winning ticket and two ID cards.
As provided under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion law, lotto winnings of more than P10,000 shall be subject to a 20% tax.
Unclaimed prizes within a year shall be forfeited.

The Mega Lotto 6/45 is drawn every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
The Mega Lotto was last won on August 5, 2024 by a bettor who bought their winning ticket from a lotto outlet in West Drive, Trade Center, Calamba, Laguna.
PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles urged the public to support the agency’s gaming products. This is to raise additional revenue for health initiatives, medical services, and other national charities.
