E-Lotto bettor wins P150-M Ultra Lotto jackpot

MANILA, Philippines – One lucky bettor who purchased ticket via E-Lotto bagged a whopping Php 150.3 million jackpot prize of Friday night, June 21, 2024 Ultra Lotto 6/58 draw.

In an advisory, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced on Saturday that the sole winner, who registered E-Lotto account in Lucena City, Quezon, will take home the Php 150,307,791.20 jackpot prize.

The winning combination was 08-24-15-44-04-58.

21 bettors who guessed five correct numbers won second prize and will receive Php 120,000 each.

Meanwhile, 1,014 players guessed four of the six winning combination and they will get Php 2,000 each. 22,571 players won Php 100 each for guessing three numbers.

To claim his/her check, the bettor must go to the PCSO’s main office in Mandaluyong City. Then, present the winning ticket and two ID cards.

As provided under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion law, lotto winnings of more than P10,000 shall be subject to a 20% tax.

PCSO conducts 6/58 draws every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday. To join, one must select 6 numbers from 1 to 58 or play Lucky Pick for randomly generated numbers. Each bet also costs P20.

The 6/58 was last won on April 30, 2024 by lone winner who bought ticket at a lotto outlet in Fishermall, Quezon Avenue, Bgy. Sta. Cruz, Quezon City.

In the history of lotto in the country, the jackpot of Php 1.18-billion for Ultra Lotto, which was won by two lucky bettors in October 2018, was the biggest so far.

PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles said the bettor from Quezon was the second jackpot winner who placed bet using the E-Lotto platform.

The first E-Lotto winner won the P698 million jackpot in the Grand Lotto 6/55 draw held last January 17, 2024.

Robles urged the public to support the agency’s gaming products. This is to raise additional revenue for health initiatives, medical services, and other national charities.
