Laguna bettor bags Php 70-M Lotto 6/42 jackpot
MANILA, Philippines – Lone bettor from the province of Laguna hit the jackpot in the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office’s Lotto 6/42 winning over Php 70 million on Saturday, June 22, 2024.
The winning combination of 40-11-25-07-27-30 gave a Php 70,440,258.20 payoff.
The ticket was purchased from outlet in Cabuyao City, Laguna.

Because of taxes, as provided by the TRAIN Law, lotto winnings are subject to 20 percent tax. This means, Php 14,088,051.64 would be deducted from the winnings.
Also collecting dividends were 82 bettors who won P24,000 each for getting at least 5 digits correctly in the winning combination.
Meanwhile, 3,607 players guessed four of the six winning combination and they will get Php 800 each. 49,146 players won Php 20 each (balik-taya) for guessing three numbers.
Prizes not claimed within a year shall be forfeited.
The Lotto 6/42 was last won on May 16, 2024 by solo bettor who bought his/her winning ticket from lotto outlet in Dasmariñas City, Cavite.
On June 21, Friday, lone bettor from Lucena City, Quezon, won a whopping Php 150.3 million in the Ultra Lotto with purchased ticket through the E-Lotto app.
The Lotto 6/42 is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles urged the public to support the agency’s gaming products. This is to raise additional revenue for health initiatives, medical services, and other national charities.
