Laguna resident bags over Php 55M in Grand Lotto
A lucky bachelor from San Pedro, Laguna, won the Grand Lotto 6/55 jackpot worth 55,394,255.40 with the winning combination of 04-16-26-24-14-47 on May 6, 2023.
The winner, who has been playing the lotto for over a decade, expressed gratitude for his unexpected blessings. He emphasized that luck was in his favor as he got the winning combination through a lucky pick for only 20.
“Hindi po talaga ako nag-aalaga ng numero, ang katuwiran ko po kapag suwerte ka mananalo ka kahit isa lang ang itaya mo at ito nga po pinalad na po akong manalo ng jackpot sa mahigit na sampung taon na pagtangkilik ko sa lotto,” he said in an interview with PCSO.

He encourages others to try their luck on the lotto, as it will not hurt to bet with low stakes, and it supports the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), which helps many people.
The lucky winner plans to build his dream house and is looking to take care of his elderly parents’ health check-ups. He also plans to invest the rest in a business venture for his nieces’ and nephews’ future.
To claim the prize, they must do so within a year from the draw date; otherwise, the prize will be forfeited and donated to PCSO Charity Fund in accordance with the PCSO Charter (RA 1169). The winnings above 10,000 are subject to a 20% tax, as mandated by the Tax Reform Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) Law.

Before right after the draw of a particular lotto matter of seconds the winner/winners are immediately known. Since all are automated there is no reason WHY they need to have commercials prior to announcement if there is/are winner/winners. Sometimes you read in the results TBA It is no longer believable . What gives PCSO. Can you be more transparent.
and if someone wins 200m, they would bot give the whole amount. what a scam. 200m less 20% – 160m take home for the winner but pcso people would tell the person you cant have all. mmmmmm???? and if u want all, u only get half or less. hahahaha
