Leyte bettor wins P58.4M Lotto 6/42 jackpot
MANILA, Philippines – Lone bettor from Leyte hit the jackpot in the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office’s Lotto 6/42 winning Php 58.4 million on Thursday, December 29, 2022.
The winning combination of 27-05-26-31-19-09 gave a Php 58,430,935.80 payoff.
The ticket was purchased in Capoocan, Leyte.

Because of taxes, as provided by the TRAIN Law, lotto winnings are subject to 20 percent tax. This means, Php 11,686,187.16 would be deducted from the winnings.
Also collecting dividends were 123 bettors who won P24,000 each for getting at least 5 digits correctly in the winning combination.
Meanwhile, 4,863 players guessed four of the six winning combination and they will get Php 800 each. 66,676 players won Php 20 each (balik-taya) for guessing three numbers.
Prizes not claimed within a year shall be forfeited.
The Lotto 6/42 is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
The PCSO urged the public to keep on patronizing their lotto games to generate more funds for health programs, medical assistance and services, and charities.
