Leyte bettor wins Php 11-M Lotto 6/42 jackpot
MANILA, Philippines – Lone bettor from Leyte hit the jackpot in the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office’s Lotto 6/42 winning Php 11 million on Tuesday, February 20, 2024.
The winning combination of 22-17-01-29-11-16 gave a Php 10,990,641.60 payoff.
The ticket was purchased from Reas, Ryan D. lotto outlet in Abuyog, Leyte.

Because of taxes, as provided by the TRAIN Law, lotto winnings are subject to 20 percent tax. This means, Php 2,198,128.32 would be deducted from the winnings.
Also collecting dividends were 72 bettors who won P24,000 each for getting at least 5 digits correctly in the winning combination.
Meanwhile, 2,364 players guessed four of the six winning combination and they will get Php 800 each. 30,135 players won Php 20 each (balik-taya) for guessing three numbers.
Prizes not claimed within a year shall be forfeited.
The Lotto 6/42 was last won on February 13, 2024 by solo bettor who bought their winning ticket from lotto outlet in Quirino Highway, Novaliches, Quezon City.
The Lotto 6/42 is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles urged the public to support the agency’s gaming products. This is to raise additional revenue for health initiatives, medical services, and other national charities.
