Leyte bettor wins Php 18.7M Lotto 6/42 jackpot


MANILA, Philippines – Lone bettor from the province of Leyte hit the jackpot in the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office’s Lotto 6/42 winning Php 18.7 million on Thursday, September 5, 2024.

PCSO said the bettor guessed the winning combination of 13-11-30-23-21-07. The total jackpot prize was Php 18,683,725.20.


The ticket was bought from a lotto outlet in Real Street, Barangay San Roque in Tanawan, Leyte.

Because of taxes, as provided by the TRAIN Law, lotto winnings are subject to 20 percent tax. This means, Php 3,736,745.04 would be deducted from the winnings.

Also collecting dividends were 78 bettors who won P24,000 each for getting at least 5 digits correctly in the winning combination.

Meanwhile, 2,667 players guessed four of the six winning combination and they will get Php 800 each. 30,849 players won Php 20 each (balik-taya) for guessing three numbers.

Prizes not claimed within a year shall be forfeited.

The Lotto 6/42 was last won on August 22, 2024 by solo bettor who bought his/her winning ticket in Lucky Circle Corp. in Calamba City.

The Lotto 6/42 is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles urged the public to support the agency’s gaming products. This is to raise additional revenue for health initiatives, medical services, and other national charities.
