Manila bettor wins Php 107M Lotto 6/42 jackpot
MANILA, Philippines – Lone bettor from Metro Manila hit the jackpot in the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office’s Lotto 6/42 winning Php 107.9 million on Tuesday, November 5, 2024.
PCSO said the bettor guessed the winning combination of 22-24-10-34-02-35. The total jackpot prize was Php 107,852,598.00.
The ticket was bought from a lotto outlet at Lucky Circle Corp. in San Lazaro, Manila.
Because of taxes, as provided by the TRAIN Law, lotto winnings are subject to 20 percent tax. This means, Php 21,570,519.60 would be deducted from the winnings.
Also collecting dividends were 56 bettors who won P24,000 each for getting at least 5 digits correctly in the winning combination.
Meanwhile, 2,240 players guessed four of the six winning combination and they will get Php 800 each. 37,225 players won Php 20 each (balik-taya) for guessing three numbers.
Prizes not claimed within a year shall be forfeited.
The Lotto 6/42 was last won on October 19, 2024 by a solo bettor who bought winning ticket from a lotto outlet in SM Fairview, Quezon City.
The Lotto 6/42 is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles urged the public to support the agency’s gaming products. This is to raise additional revenue for health initiatives, medical services, and other national charities.
