Manila bettor wins Php 28.6M Lotto 6/42 jackpot
MANILA, Philippines – Lone bettor from Metro Manila hit the jackpot in the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office’s Lotto 6/42 winning Php 28.6 million on Saturday, December 14, 2024.
PCSO said the bettor guessed the winning combination of 33-25-19-05-24-22. The total jackpot prize was Php 28,581,049.40.
The ticket was bought from a lotto outlet in Tondo, Manila.
Because of taxes, as provided by the TRAIN Law, lotto winnings are subject to 20 percent tax. This means, Php 5,716,209.88 would be deducted from the winnings.
Also collecting dividends were 38 bettors who won P24,000 each for getting at least 5 digits correctly in the winning combination.
Meanwhile, 2,085 players guessed four of the six winning combination and they will get Php 800 each. 31,547 players won Php 20 each (balik-taya) for guessing three numbers.
Prizes not claimed within a year shall be forfeited.
The Lotto 6/42 was last won on November 26, 2024 by a bettor who bought winning ticket from a lotto outlet in Antipolo, Rizal.
The Lotto 6/42 is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles urged the public to support the agency’s gaming products. This is to raise additional revenue for health initiatives, medical services, and other national charities.
