Misamis Occidental bettor wins P18.8M Super Lotto jackpot

MANILA, Philippines – A ticket sold in Misamis Occidental bagged Php 18.8 million jackpot prize draw of the Super Lotto 6/49 game on Thursday, March 2, 2023.

In an advisory, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said the lucky player guessed the winning combination of 20-30-35-28-18-21 to win a jackpot of Php 18,765,983.80.

The winning ticket was bought in Ozamis, City, Misamis Occidental.

To claim the check, the 6/49 jackpot winner must go to PCSO’s main office in Mandaluyong City and present the winning ticket and two ID cards, the PCSO said.

As provided under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion law, lotto winnings of more than P10,000 shall be subject to a 20% tax.

It added that 19 other players who guessed five numbers out of the six of the winning combination won Php 50,000 each.

Meanwhile, 1,343 players guessed four of the six winning combination and they will get Php 1,200 each. 23,430 players won Php 50 each for guessing three numbers.

The Super Lotto was last won on February 19, 2023 by a lucky bettor who bought the winning ticket from a lotto outlet in Lavezares, Northern Samar.

The Super Lotto 6/49 is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.

PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles urged the public to support the agency’s gaming products in order to raise additional revenue for health initiatives, medical services, and other national charities.
