Pasig bettor wins P24.7M Lotto 6/42 jackpot


MANILA, Philippines – Lone bettor from Metro Manila hit the jackpot in the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office’s Lotto 6/42 winning Php 24.7 million Tuesday, October 25, 2022.

The winning combination of 28-10-30-08-01-16 gave a Php 24,684,429.00 payoff.


The ticket was purchased in Pasig City.

Because of taxes, as provided by the TRAIN Law, lotto winnings are subject to 20 percent tax. This means, Php 4,936,885.80 would be deducted from the winnings.

Also collecting dividends were 85 bettors who won P24,000 each for getting at least 5 digits correctly in the winning combination.

Meanwhile, 2,957 players guessed four of the six winning combination and they will get Php 800 each. 34,990 players won Php 20 each (balik-taya) for guessing three numbers.

Prizes not claimed within a year shall be forfeited.

The Lotto 6/42 is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

The PCSO urged the public to keep on patronizing their lotto games to generate more funds for health programs, medical assistance and services, and charities.
