Rizal bettor bags Php 12.7-M Lotto 6/42 jackpot
MANILA, Philippines – Lone bettor from Rizal hit the jackpot in the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office’s Lotto 6/42 winning over Php 12 million on Saturday, July 20, 2024.
PCSO said the bettor guessed the winning combination of 27-23-17-41-15-29. The total jackpot prize was Php 12,725,157.60.
The ticket was bought from a lotto outlet in Cainta, Rizal.
Because of taxes, as provided by the TRAIN Law, lotto winnings are subject to 20 percent tax. This means, Php 2,545,031.52 would be deducted from the winnings.
Also collecting dividends were 36 bettors who won P24,000 each for getting at least 5 digits correctly in the winning combination.
Meanwhile, 1,464 players guessed four of the six winning combination and they will get Php 800 each. 23,131 players won Php 20 each (balik-taya) for guessing three numbers.
Prizes not claimed within a year shall be forfeited.
The Lotto 6/42 was last won on July 11, 2024 by solo bettor who bought his/her winning ticket from E-Lotto.
The Lotto 6/42 is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles urged the public to support the agency’s gaming products. This is to raise additional revenue for health initiatives, medical services, and other national charities.
