Tarlac bettor wins Php 16.8-M Lotto 6/42 jackpot
MANILA, Philippines – Lone bettor from Tarlac hit the jackpot in the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office’s Lotto 6/42 winning Php 16.8 million on Tuesday, January 9, 2024.
The winning combination of 04-39-23-19-17-36 gave a Php 16,813,380.40 payoff.
The ticket was purchased at a lotto outlet in Camiling, Tarlac.

Because of taxes, as provided by the TRAIN Law, lotto winnings are subject to 20 percent tax. This means, Php 3,362,676.08 would be deducted from the winnings.
Also collecting dividends were 29 bettors who won P24,000 each for getting at least 5 digits correctly in the winning combination.
Meanwhile, 1,522 players guessed four of the six winning combination and they will get Php 800 each. 25,869 players won Php 20 each (balik-taya) for guessing three numbers.
Prizes not claimed within a year shall be forfeited.
The Lotto 6/42 was last won on January 2, 2024 by three lucky bettors who bought their winning ticket from lotto outlet in San Miguel, Bulacan; Pila, Laguna and Tondo, Manila.
The Lotto 6/42 is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles urged the public to support the agency’s gaming products in order to raise additional revenue for health initiatives, medical services, and other national charities.
